Double-spray advantages

Question: When is it worthwhile to invest in a double-spray lance or work with a double spray?

Answered by our Service Manager:

Investing in and working with a double-spray lance is worthwhile for virtually all areas of application and a maximum pressure of up to 500 bar (7,250 PSI).

Certainly the greatest advantage of the double-spray lance is the possibility of regulating pressure by flow rate, i.e. return flow to the machine and pressure regulation via the unloader valve or motor speed is no longer necessary. This saves money right from the start, because wear costs are drastically reduced. The average costs of wear for pressure regulation by flow rate are only around EUR 70, whereas conventional pressure regulation by means of the unloader valve averages wear costs of EUR 500.

Water-jetting with a double-spray lance is also considerably more ergonomic and, ultimately, of greater advantage when it comes to work safety. One of the features responsible for this is an additional handle on the gun for further stabilisation, plus the overall longer spray lance which creates a greater safety clearance. What is more, the surface treated can be rinsed clean quite comfortably at a lower pressure in a single work step. No extra specialist knowledge is required for the double-spray lance, because it is particularly easy to handle.
