Antifreeze for DYNAJET high-pressure cleaners

Question: When is the ideal time in autumn to put antifreeze into my DYNAJET high-pressure cleaner, and what sort of antifreeze is the best to use?

Answered by our Service Manager:

Antifreeze is an absolute MUST for all DYNAJET machines whenever there is a risk of frost (temperatures of < 0 °C). We recommend frost-protection agents based on monoethylene glycol as these do not attack the sealants and also protect against lime scale.

In addition to this, we suggest adding antifreeze to your high-pressure unit in the warmer seasons if it is left in standby for more than 2 to 3 days. This has the advantage of protecting against iron deposits in the water during this phase which, again, serves to extend the life of the sealants in the system. So, a small investment in antifreeze means high protection against follow-up costs.
