How do I correctly set the temperature on a DYNAJET hot water high-pressure cleaner to make sure that it is at a constant 90°C – 95°C?

Temperature control essentially depends on several factors. For example, the temperature of the inlet water and the ambient temperature each play an important role. So the warmer the water is when it arrives in the burner, the less the burner has to heat the water – and vice versa. The latest generation of DYNAJET pressure washers, the Blue Performance range, makes it simplicity itself with digital temperature control. All you have to do here is to select weed-killing mode and the pressure washer will automatically control the temperature for you.

When using DYNAJET high-pressure cleaners without computer control on weed killing projects, regulate the temperature to a constant 90°C, or thereabouts, as follows:

  1. Screw the gun onto the DYNAJET DUV 500 weed killer and then connect the gun to the high-pressure hose.
  2. Turn on the main switch of the machine.
  3. Set the burner switch to “ON” and the temperature on the digital display to 95°C ....
  4. Start the machine engine.
  5. Set the speed to full power.
  6. Pull and hold the gun trigger to start the water flow. The temperature will now steadily rise. The water temperature will eventually stop rising and settle at somewhere between 70 – 90°C depending on the temperature of the inlet water and ambient conditions.
  7. When this happens, slowly reduce the speed until the temperature stabilises at approx. 90°C.

This will prevent the burner reaching its upper cut-off point of 95°C and the temperature will remain constant.
