Optimal results without maximum pressure

Question: Can I achieve optimal results with my high-pressure cleaner without using maximum pressure?

Answered by Carsten Funk, Technical Director at DYNAJET:

There are three ways of working without maximum pressure:

1. You reduce the pressure by adjusting the unloader valve, which means that some of the water flows in the bypass. However, this has two serious disadvantages: it makes the unloader valve wear more rapidly and wastes water and energy unnecessarily.

2. You reduce the speed. This is the best and most economical way of reducing pressure. However, it is only possible with individual diesel- and petrol-driven machines.

3. You use a large nozzle. This option is available for all DYNAJET high-pressure cleaners. The advantages: you don’t waste any of your water, energy consumption is reduced, and there is no increased wear.
